The Paradox of Skill

To me, the wake up moment is 2008. I think there's been a structural shift in the world. The US is no longer the center of the universe. So it doesn't surprise me that the payoff to active investing has dropped. And the more people try, the worse they're going to do because as they try, they're spending more resources to run in place.
