Nine separate forces were tasked, each with the blockade of a specific segment of the citi's walls. earthworks were constructed and catapolts used to hurl all sorts of goodies into the city. The siege lasted for ten months before it was finally breached by min armies. Jong shitchung tried to hang himself rather than be taken captive but ming troops cut him down instead.
