The Right to Make Mistakes

If it's true that the deaf people culture is superior then why should one have to cut anything off suppose there were a reversible way of doing this I understand it in in real life it many forms of deafness are reversible and some parents object to using those. There again there's a difference between not availing yourself of a possibility which is what all of us do all  the time, and being prevented from doing so now if you're prevented fromdoing so. Is it fair to say something like there is a mandatory right to make mistakes well that's an unfair sentence. It might be hard to ascertain whether they would or not again might be hardto ascertain that fact so you'd use
