The Philistines were envious of Isaac's successful farming enterprise. They stopped up all the wells that he was using to water his livestock and take care of his household. Eventually, a bemilect who had shown mercy to Isaac comes to him and says, look, you're too powerful for us. He says, go away. So Isaac goes away.
