Peter LBrant: I think there's some basic reading material that people have to do if they're interested in speculation. The Devil Takes the Hind Most is a history of market speculation going all the way back to Chinese rice trading days and through European tulip bulbs, so forth. And then of course, I identify the Jack Swager books every year between Christmas and New Year's. They give people who are starting out trading a feel for the fact that there are many ways to develop an edge.
