Moses Approaches God and Asks for a Successor

Moses is going to approach God and ask for a successor to take his place. He says, may the Lord appoint a man over the congregation who will go out and come in before them. I'll give him Joshua who will lead them into the promised land. No one who's fairly familiar with the scriptures can hear that kind of language without their mind immediately jumping to Jesus, right?
