Using Visual Metaphors in a Project?

Images are always great only because it is true, right? That the image is worth a thousand words, and that it's quicker to get the concept. If I can look at an image of a visual like, you know, a robot or whatever, a waterfall, whatever it is, you get it really fast as opposed to text. And in terms of the comparing them in terms of metaphors, I mean, you can kind of do metaphors in both. But I will say I also use language first when I'm designing metaphors. So I don't jump to visuals immediately, but I look at the words people use around,. especially with technologies, because most of it is written in text.
