Terraces are like organ in a body. You want it to do more functioning, even outside of itself. So if we're making a hugo bed, will e to take the sod whatever's on sight, use and whatever's on view. And then you can also see into the ground level from the level below. The earth is soft, and the rain plants everything. Even if you have seeds blow in that you don't want - soe now it pulls out easy. We'll be broadcasting like 50 or a hundred different seeds out here pretty soon. I let a lot of my stuff go too. But the maintenance is a lot less than most gardeners need.
