It was a type of pro-sibography, which was a sort of systematic uniform biography done by Margaret Dupree and Anne Krather. And it looked at Lister, who you may know from Listerine, but effectively Lister had this, what we now understand to be this pioneering idea about the role of cleanliness in kind of hospital environments. The book is a fascinating example of the use of this uniform biographical tool to understand something that we sort of take for granted today.
