The History of Sexuality
Foucault was very close to completing it when he died. He was correcting the proofs even in the hospital. The lecture courses seem to me to offer a new insight into that. We had what parts Foucault published, we have various interviews and so on. But the lecture courses are clearly where Foucault is trying out the material that he's working on at that time or very close to that time.
