In hilary clinton's case, the examination was of a time when she was a government employee, secretary of state. She had active security clearances. The communications were with other people who also had securityclearances. Those three things are different in this case. Donald trump is not a government employee. He has not been an officer of the united states since january twent 21. And there is no indication that this involved communications with others with security clearance. We don't know to whom these documents were transmitted and we don't know who had access. But those elements are different.
