The Letter From Gerstner at Altimeter of the Shareholder Unrest

I think the most welcome news that you could possibly hear tonight on the call will be some acknowledgement that headcount has gotten out of control. And one of the best points that Gerstner made in his letter is this idea that it's not as though you're going to do layoffs of engineers, and these people aren't going to find work the next day. They might find work that night. So this is really, I think, momentous that this stock can get some momentum, and they can basically say, look, it's a great hiring environment. We're not letting people go for no reason, and they will be fine.
