Is There a Difference Between Universal Masking and Individual Masking?
A number of the school districts had before the state even announced the decision to get rid of masks had already decided that their mask mandate at the district level was tied to the state requirement. The study avoided some of the observational bias that you might have actually run into, for example, if like this was attempted to be done in a randomized controlled trial way.
