Gilgamesh and the Afterlife

Gilgamesh is said to be anywhere from two thirds to three quarters demigod. He had just enough God in him to not die when facing scorpion men or pagan superbovine, but enough human to still die someday. His dad was a demigod, and his mother was a full goddess. The underworld wasn't a place of great pain or happiness; it just was. Gilgamesh left Uruk the next day, and had been a month after Inkidu had been laid to rest. It was another few months of hard traveling, but Gilgamesh finally saw it. This super cool mountain passageway to the garden of the gods didn't concern him
