I think one of the biggest things can be like joining programs so for me I joined TKS which is where I was kind of introduced to a lot of these slightly more esoteric technologies. Wikipedia has been very helpful and outside of that this actually deals with school it's like if you're taking if you do like API be at your school that can be a really great opportunity for you to delve into some more advanced topics. LinkedIn’s also a great medium for that and also Twitter I don't use Twitter that much but I found that a lot of people are talking on Twitter too. If you have Twitter and you're active on it that can be really helpful as well.
