Can Net Migration Be Significantly Reduced Through Public Policy?
Can net migration be significantly brought down through public policy? And secondly, is that desirable? Do we want to see the numbers come down, or is it still the case that immigrants to this country are net contributors to the economy? Yes, I think they can. The question whether it's desirable is one where reasonable people will disagree. But by all means, the government could decide to be more restrictive in any number of ways.
