How to Setup a Tenancy Agreement
If you don't have a settlement date, you can't sign up a tenant. You're responsible for their lodging after the date you've signed up for it. Best practice is to do it maybe one week before the settlement date - not two or three weeks. And if you listed seven days before you do to pay the money, you're going to get the sort of tenants who want to move quickly. There's a lot of urgency there.
