Is It Easy to Track Everything?

Marketing is focused on developing buyer personas and trying to push people through a funnel, not actually helping people. If you have a real modern marketing strategy, then the content that you put out should be just as valuable to your most evangelist customers than it would for someone who has never heard of you before. The other reason why people spend so much here, is because it's some of the most easily trackable activities that exist. It almost pushes you into doing certain things that are easily tracked, typically not customer centric, and drive top of funnel metrics, not real metrics.
