The Yankees have gone the opposite way of moneyball in the 21st century. You can't go out and spend tens of millions of dollars on players and expect to win World Series. The core has to be from the bottom up, right? That's how the best teams in really every sport do. I actually think you need an overhaul manager front office. It is miserable.
