Inflation Is Driving Up the Cost of Everything
In 2022, airlines made about $5 billion in baggage fees, but just $697,000 in change fees. Ticketmaster is an egregious abuser of these junk fees, partly because they have monopoly on the entire industry. These little 15, 20, 30, 40 R fees here and there could make or break a family's budget for the year. And as we mentioned a little early in the episode, inflation is really driving up the cost of everything.
