Is Enlightenment Mixed With Protestantism?
Early Protestantism mixed with the enlightenment. And I don't think it's an accident that you tend to see some the more fundamentalist portions of Christianity in those Protestant sects. Because they need that certainty because that's the only thing that's the Only leg that their theological discernment stands on. There are no fundamentalists in the world today that don't look to a text as their perfect source.
