The Five Anti Campaigns
The Sanfan and Wufan campaigns started off towards the waning days of 1951. Mao decided he wanted to start going after certain elements of Chinese society. Joe had always been a proponent of building bridges with those who were not dedicated communists. The five anti's campaign started later but ran alongside the three anti's. This is the one where the capitalists and the bourgeoisie got it.
