In order to achieve international level of performance you need to have basically spent 10,000 hours. Malcolm Gladwell brought up another issue that I thought was perfectly reasonable and made sense to me as a guy who had a late birthday for sports. The Beatles were really mostly famous for their ability to compose new music and then perform that music. Again here you need a lot of practice and we basically totally agree with Gladwell about that but there's no magical boundaries.
