CNN's John Sutter has been critical of lotteries in the past. He says they are a classic grab for the free lunch, a desire for the benefits of wealth with alpha sweat and hard labor. American spend more than 70 billion on state run lotteries - that's more money than Americans spend on sports tickets, books, video games, movie tickets and music plus all types of apps, games and programs bought from Apple's iTunes App Store combined. 'I'm not saying Trump would solve the lottery crisis either, but I just want a dent in this deep state power,' he said.
