Soleimani's Nationalist Cred Is a Sign of Governments and Competence
There had absolutely been nationalist national mourning around Soleimani and Soleimani is an interesting figure too because he's largely deployed outside of the country. He has some nationalist cred as the person who is most responsible for keeping the sort of forces of crisis that are constantly flaring everywhere around Iran. And so this is not just reflecting reformists of course but it's like all of supports the mood of we gave these people a meaningful chance and here we are.
