Erica's car was found a mile from her home, untouched and with two parking violation notices on it. She had requested that the domestic violence case be postponed, agreeing instead to alcohol abuse councilling sessions. A week before she disappeared, the restraining order and the case against her were dropped. Her family is very active in trying to find her and to keep her story in the public eye.
