Is There a Right to Human Dignity?
Germany has very, very specific laws against hate speech. In addition to the criminal code, they have provisions for civil claims around group defamation. A lot of countries who've re worked their constitution since world war two are really recognizing and thinking about this notion of human dignity. Here in the united states, we don't really recognize or have laws that account for,. either in our constitution or in our statutory laws, t that talk about human dignity.
