The Poison Squat Experiments by William Wile

Wile's experiments become his most important legacy, both towards the passage of the act and for attracting attention for his beliefs about food. He is a chemist, so first he is using the tools of chemistry to look at the ingredients that are not listed on the label. A good example f that is honey. Wile concluded that honey with water in it is adulterated, which is sometimes true, but is also sometimes not true.
