The Republican Party's Support for Ukraine

John Avlon: Kevin McCarthy's comments on Ukraine were good for several reasons. He says it was a great message to Russia, who are counting that the Republicans aren't going to support aid. The administration is confident it has the votes and he said it in Israel because of hedging bets between Russia and Ukraine.
