The Ukrainian Counter-Operative Is Not Going Well
There was hope that Putin might become so bogged down at home that the Ukrainians could exploit this and overrun the Russians on the battlefield. But I think that brief glimmer of hope is over. And the Ukrainian counter-offensive, which has been underway for now more than three weeks, does not seem to be going well at all. The Biden administration can't afford to see them fail.
