The Misspeaking of Donald Trump

Trump claimed that the US has provided $171 billion to Ukraine, while the European Union only gave 20. CNN fact checked this and said both assertions are false. But they had said so many times that he had asked them to invent votes,. I think he thought he was denying the invent votes, but he used the word find. And then they had to fact check the misspeaking because they could no longer fact check the central claim. That was a clever move.
