Buddha: We're not free from lust or desire for sense pleasures. There's a feverish quality often to them, yet we find a certain satisfaction and enjoyment in dependence on them. So how much of our lives and our energy do we want to invest in this pursuit? It's endless. Sense pleasure is available and that we've experienced. And yet we never come to a place of fulfillment.
