The Importance of Cultural Difference in 20th Century Science

I'm trying to argue that cultural difference continued to matter in 20th century science, even in categories and disciplines that were entirely imported. And I'm pushing it back against the idea that there was a great divide, a sharp great divide, and one single path of modernity. Moving on to complementary science, this is a program that's articulated by the philosopher of science, Hasseltang. It aims to recover knowledge that was lost when societies made certain scientific choices in the past.
