The Two to One Blackjack Promotion
I remember cash Creek where cash is spelled C A C H E in Northern California. They had a two to one blackjack promotion in the early 90s. The casino was supposedly not allowed to take any of the blackjack losses as profit and they went into the players pool. I famously lost $20,000 with a $100 max bet at table mountain near Fresno. It made me realize that you can't play these games with such a small edge.
