Why Humanity Is Losing Its Mind

If people can be ratio rational, why does humanity seem to be losing its mind? It's not simple. And i think the answer comes in four parts. We are all susceptible to motivated reasoning. People have much more trouble with formal rational that is, abstract rules and formulas that they can apply across the board to any content. These must be learned and consciously deployed. I said that it is the use of knowledge service of a goal. Well, here is the question that i know everyone has in mind when you raise the topic of rationality. The question does not have a simple answer.
