The Importance of Demos

Rails was launched with a lot of things you would maybe think that you would absolutely have to have. And I don't regret that because the thing that we had to focus on was like, can we make the client like the downloadable, installable app? Good enough that people want to use it. That was way more important to focus time on and understand before like building a password reset or even self-serve checkout.
