The Mighty Men in the Books of Samuel

In first chronicles, chapter 13, we have our familiar story about david saying, k i'm living here now in the city of David. And it makes sense that we need to bring the presence of god, the ark of god, into the city of jerusalem where we can have worship in the lord's presence. But what do they do? They put it on a cart. That's one of the great gifts for all of us, is that we want to live in the presence of God at the time. We're still called to leap and dance before the lord, to wait in stillness before the lord,. To pray and worship before theLord, in his presence.
