The Limits of Image Capture Technology in Cataract Surgery

The difference in pigmentation certainly does make a difference. And we can hypothesize the reason why probably has to do with the somewhat limited dynamic range of cameras compared to the human eye, right? The brighter part often looks washed out and the part in shadow, you know, doesn't look as good. You can see as many of those issues in some of our early analyses in terms of looking at retina surgery.
