Introduction
Phalanx fractures are common hand injuries that involve the proximal, middle, or distal phalinx. Diagnosis can be confirmed with orthognal radiographs of the involved digit. Treatment involves immobilization or surgical fixation depending on location, rity and alignment of injury. The small finger is most commonly affected and accounts for 38 % of all hand fractures.
