The Blue Collar Unions Are a Part of the Problem
The weakening of the blue collar unions is a has kind of implied and this again is a process that's been in the making for decades now. The social democrats have got those unions used to be the kind of crucial intermediary but they are both much weaker than they were. They're trying to prevent membership losses by being more apolitical in a sense so so unionization I think is is an important part of that story.
