The Importance of Talking About Divorce
People have this weird superstitious view of divorce that somehow like talking about it makes you more likely to do it. Not talking about the possibility of divorce to me feels like a major communication hurdle and a sign of larger problems in the relationship. It's still almost one in three marriages, right? And I do think it's important to plan for that possibility, even if it's not what you actually hope will happen.
