The dislike feature is really more so that viewers can shape their recommendations and less about mob mentality. Whether or not it works remains to be seen. I'm sure there will still be campaigns against certain videos or creators that will convince tons of folks to dislike specific vidios, even if they've never watched the video. But maybe it won't be as bad as it was before, because you won't see how effective the attack is. There will be no number associated with dislikes.
