i play like can say, it is horrible. And there was nothing, very little they could have done about it at the time,. short of closing theatres and your having a certain amount of quarantine. I think going to a theatre in shakespeare's day would have been much more chaotic than it would be to day. It really gives a different meaning to to lines like, a plague on both your houses, or the disease base insults, which shakespeare often deploys. When you think that people had real life experience of those, those those insults seem so much more punchian and intense don't they? Oh, absolutely.
