The Magnitsky Act and the Russian Federation
The Russian Federation has applied to Interpol to have Bill Brouber arrested eight times. The US passed a landmark law known as the Magnitsky Act which blocks visas and freezes assets of government officials identified as gross violators of human rights. Following in the footsteps of the US, Canada, UK and the EU also adopted the law.
