What Are the Multiple Sensory Experiences in the Roman House?
The embodied experience of the home is, i mean the full physical, the full corporeal experience. What are the multiple sensory experiences that might have been had in the roman house? I being in that space from this, obviously, it's quite a significant amount of time ago. How do we know about and how are we able to interpret ancient sensory scapes? In particular, i was drawing on the sites of pompei and herculanium, and more broadly, te the bay of naples as a whole.
