What Is Sovereignty in the 1940s?
In the 1940s there are these proposals being put on the table to challenge those racial foundations of humanitarian law. imperial powers were reluctant to give away that sovereignty but at some point it started to actually ask for I see delegates to come in to the wars of decolonization. The Soviet position itself is also complicated the fact they're fighting insurgencies in Eastern Europe which also connects with what we're seeing now Ukraine today.
