The Fairness of the Allocation of Funding for Horse Racing
I think obviously there are clear benefits to the horse racing, to investment in the horse racing industry. The FAIs report questions the scale of it but the same argument is almost impossible to make for greyhound racing. It's now from a third of its peak so, you know, we've been planning money into this and it's only dwindling. I always find it interesting when FAI arguments are immediately dismissed as moot by the people who might be affected by them. And that's not credible. What does moot even mean? Just on this, though. Like, that seems like a complete waste of a week's debate around this.
