The Importance of Dreaming the Future
Vivek: For Dalit people, I always think about the fact for me, like I'm an artifact of a thousand generations of love. There's no way my ancestors ever had the signs kinds of freedoms and potential choices that I have. But they had to dream a vision of a daughter that would be free. And just like Dalit's have that radical imagination of pushing the future generations forward. Virek: Even when I don't have hope, I try and create it. You know, every thought experiment to freedom always yields more freedom.
