The President's Dentures Are Still Fastening Teeth to Teeth
Washington was known for a hair trigger temper. He wrote to dentists of the day asking for a file to repair a denture or scraper to clean his teeth and pincers to fasten wires on his teeth. By the time he was president, when he was inaugurated for her first time in 1789 he only had one tooth left.
