The Printer on Fire Error Message
Back in the late fifties, computers were being used at a lot of laboratories. They needed to print out their calculations and printers were slow. A developer decided that the air message for that should be, the printer's on fire. But it turns out that these type of printers actually predate that error message. So there was no evidence of that message appearing at that time.
